In a system designed to consume us, the only way to thrive is to conserve ourselves.

I am developing a deeper understanding of how Self-Discipline leads to Enlightenment. Discipline is not just needed for my physical well-being, it is also necessary for my mental and spiritual prosperity. In order to save myself from destruction, I must find balance within all three areas internally. This destruction can come from many directions- Burnout, Self-Sabotage, Over-spending and Under-spending, Negative Energy Consumption, Over-confidence and Lack of confidence- are just some of the ways I can harm myself. Balancing my energies is an endless cycle that will ultimately create the legacy I am able to leave behind.

Creating harmony within my life takes dedication, intention, and poise. Understanding when it is time to save my energy or wisely spend it is a dedicated response to burnout. I am reclaiming my time from negative energy emitters to properly build myself into a better human. Finding the happy medium between expanding my financial portfolio and investing in relationship building is an intentional strategy designed to develop wealth. Wealth is more than my finances; wealth is my personal relationships that generate interest in my future. I am balancing my want to over-spend and my need to under-spend in my interest-building ventures. Developing the poise to remain calm in situations of excitement is how I am learning to stabilize my confidence. Demonstrating humility in the receival of praise, and practicing encouragement in the face of despair are motivational moments for me to build upon. Harmony requires the mastery of discipline.

Self-discipline is a pre-requisite for the development of personal power. The poise I am developing allows for the successful building of impactful relationships, though none of these relationships are greater than my personal relationship with myself. My thoughts define me. Am I building myself up, or tearing myself down? Understanding my thoughts and expressing myself clearly and with acceptance is the water to my soil. Emphasizing compassion from within is the root that leads to divinity. I will continue to water my roots along this journey towards enlightenment.

It is plausible that Thought is the closest link between the material world and the divine.

Until next time,

K.C.
