New Life Mission unlocked: “Intentional Maneuvers”

I’m getting good at this shit

Does anybody else live like I do? I mean living on the road like a multi-faceted ADHD entrepreneur who only sits down to work and sleep… oh yeah, and eat sometimes 😅 Eating and sleeping are the best moments in life, but I often feel like I am getting behind if I stay in them to long. My mind races a million miles a minute and sometimes it is hard to keep up, but it is at that exact moment I now breathe deeply. In that moment of pause I now collect myself and calm down.

The nature of entrepreneurship is dedication. Continued leveling up in terms of skills, knowledge and connections. It is an everyday hustle that will run the best into the ground when not run effectively. You literally become a walking business that is difficult to separate from gently. Relationships get strained and distant as your schedule fills with more business. Life becomes an anxious web of confusion… unless you learn to balance yourself through intentional maneuvers.

I noticed recently that I have put my established company on the back burner to continue growing as a human. Life as a business tends to go like that until you cross the breakthrough point. And for me, I’m not quite there yet, but I see it.

Did I mention this is probably breakthrough #5 or #6 out of an infinite number of possibilities?

I started a production company almost two years ago, and I have done a stellar job wowing people and gaining some notoriety in my city in that time. It just has not created a sustainable income yet. That is the breakthrough point guarding the gate to the next level. I often look back at my anxieties in moments like these as a medal of honor for having bested them. “Life as I know it is changing and I don’t know what to do about it!”

What we do in those moments defines us! Are you going to remain anxious and confused? Or are you going to steady yourself and gain control?

I chose to gain control and never looked back…

Learning to balance my personal time and my professional time was the hardest part of becoming an entrepreneur. Maintaining my sanity while doing it was the second. The long nights that bleed into early mornings. The unfinished conversations and dropped connections. The distinct hunger pains that come with budgeting months ahead… or the empty bank account that comes with eating too good ~ I’m guilty! This life will literally drive you insane if you let it.

That is why it is so important to find balance and harmonize your energy with the world. I won’t give away all my secrets, but one way I began fiding balance was to start incorporating my hobbies into my businesses. That way when I go to find peace off the grid I am still honing a skill and not disturbing my rambunctious anxiety.

What are you doing for yours?
